Woodbridge Recap...

The results have been posted on from the Woodbridge invite. Please make sure to look over your results and your goals. Several of you beat your goal time and/or crushed your times from last year! Your training is already paying off! (Yay!) For our new athletes, it is only the beginning. If you did a few things you wish you could change, the good news is you have plenty of time to evaluate your race and train hard for the next race. I hope you all had a great time, I sure enjoyed watching and cheering you on! Our next race is league meet #1 on Thursday, September 29th at Linfield School. This will be our first competition against just the teams in our league. Work hard, train smart, because every day really does count!

Practice on Monday will be at 3pm, we will run our long run for the week! See you then!

ESPN Cross Country Inspirational Video

Thank you to the Morgan-Wilson Family for sending me this video. I have had it for a little while, but I had to wait to watch it and post it until after I got my computer back.

May it motivate ALL of you to be thankful for the fact that you have legs that work and the gift to run.

Our next invite is this Saturday at the Woodbridge Classic. Here is a link if you would like more information:

This is our only night meet. It is completely flat and will race under the lights. Please make sure to post your goal times on

The first race begins at 4pm. We will leave the school at 2pm. Please make sure to take a flyer on Wednesday from Coach Hilton. If you are not in 6th period PE, make the effort to stop by his class room to get a copy. I believe we are the blue race bibs, but will confirm with Coach Hilton.

Looking forward to a great raceday!
